Day of the Sick

Well today was an uneventful day of both Rebecca and Jonah trying to get over being sick.  The poor little guy has spent the past two days puking and having diarhea.  I stayed up with him last night to make sure we was safe.  I will say though that I have never had an easier time staying awake.  When it comes to my son everything for him is simple.  I went to a funeral yesterday and that was tough.  I hate going to funerals of people that are my parents age.  All it does is remind me that they are getting older and closer to the inevitability of death.

Tuesday: Day of Tuesdayness

So I have to say that this week has been tough so far.  Starting it off with the death of a friend's father was not what I had in mind.  It has a powerful way of reminding you that one day my own parents will die too.  On another note, I found out that I have antibodies in my system that decided to make my life miserable.  Stupid body you go squish now.  Today I saw Coach Switzer at Zane's meat market.  Man I am so close to finishing my Rush album collection.  I am almost down to only the expensive ones.  I did hear though that some albums are going to be redone this year so I will be patient and wait.

Hump Day Awesomeness

So I finally got to see the allergy doctor today.  It was an interesting visit.  I found out that I am not allergic to my house so thank God I am back at home.  I am also not allergic to wheat to I do not have to stop eating bread.  The doc thinks I might have some rogue antibodies causing problems in my body.  I had blood drawn to check some things out.  I will wait patiently for the results and in the meantime enjoy the drugs he put me on.  In other news Jonah has achieved two firsts.  He has said his first real word and of course it was "mom"!  He also held his own bottle of milk when I fed him.  I was so proud of him!  He just reached up and took hold of it from me.  Tomorrow looks to be a fun day.  We shall see how white the area is tomorrow for Tony's birthday.

Whose got a case of the Mondays?

Well today was a interesting day.  It was good because it was MLK day but on the other hand I worked on homework and went to a funeral viewing.  I am also super itchy and I am not sure my idea about it being wheat bread is the winner.  All I know is that this sucks!  Just two more days till my appointment.  Lets hope they can give me some answers.

Day 2......sort of

So this is the first of many times I will probably forget to make a post for a day.  Blogging is new so I will get used to it.  It was a rough day with my allergy but I have a new possible culprit.  I think I might be allergic to something in wheat bread.  It seems to be one of the things that has changed in my life since this started.  It is tough because I want this to be the thing causing my problems but then if it is I will have to be careful what I eat from now on.

Day 1 is over

So the day is over and I am not happy.  I am staying at my mom's house until my allergy test appointment next week and yet I have started to break out.  It is so frustrating to not know what is causing this.  Mom says to distance myself from anything related to my house so that means no body wash or shampoo from home.  I also washed all my clothing too.  Arghh!  Looking back at the day I have learned not to go to Cimmarron Steak House for dinner.  It is way to busy.  I hope I am not so itchy tomorrow.  Wednesday can not come soon enough.

Gonna get my blog on!

So in honor of my having to take a class this semester about blogging, I have decided to start my own blog.  I will seek to remain honest and sincere to myself and post the day's awesomeness.
